Peter van Dorp is an independent IT professional with more than twenty-five years of work experience in analysis, design, vendor management, project management and consultancy and seventeen years in power markets. 

His original background in classical studies and philosophy makes him particularly alert to matters of communication and extends his vision well beyond the technical realm. 

Peter’s main experience and interest lie in complex, multi-party projects in an international setting. Key features of his approach are pragmatism, diplomacy, and a continuous pursuit of simplicity.

Although generally well aware of political interests and sensitivities, he always tries to keep an eye on the objective, best-practice side of things. Making the best possible use of his own time and that of his colleagues is an ongoing concern.
